Nigeria’s Super Eagles are back to the top of Group A of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers after beating the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau 1-0 in the return match of their double-leg clash on Monday.
Moses Simon scored the only goal of the match from the spot kick to give all the three points of the match and restore their lead at the top of the table.
The three-time African champions had lost their position at the top of Group A standing following a shock 0-1 defeat to Guinea Bissau in the first leg match at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja earlier on Friday.
