2027: Why Sen. Dafinone is keeping the peace

As we enter the next stage of our support for Senator Ede Dafinone, I want to make the following very clear:

We acknowledge that Sen. Ede Dafinone is not perfect. Only God is perfect. However, we equally acknowledge that he is more pan-Urhobo than his known contenders for the Delta Central Senate seat in 2027. And being pan-urhobo is the ultimate interest here. 

We acknowledge that other eligible Urhobo politicians have a right to vie for the Delta Central Senate Seat. 

While we stand firmly with Senator Ede Dafinone, we respect the right of his opponents to contest against him. 

As a matter of principle, the distinguished senator frowns against insults on his opponents by his supporters. He does not welcome the idea of insulting his expected opponents (whether as an offensive or defensive).

As a matter of fact, Sen. Ede Dafinone has huge respect for Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege and that respect is responsible for why it appears that the Senator’s media team is weak in their defense of the Senator from the social media herdsmen sent against him. 

How do you, a supporter of Dafinone, go online to respond harshly to an Omo-Agege who is highly respected by Dafinone? You see the issue now? 

We expect that DSP Ovie Omo-Agege would see clearly that Sen. Ede Dafinone is not interested in joining issues with him. Dafinone has said it on several occasions that he is not here to drag other Urhobo leaders down. He says that all the time. He is here for collaboration to make Urhobo nation great. He wants the unity of Urhobo politicians especially at the federal level. 

Sadly, his opponents seem to be more interested in recruiting village boys as media aides instead of civilized people who understand the essence of mutual respect in politics. 

But when push comes to shove, the fact that two can play at the game of irresponsible politics will be highlighted.
