Some worshippers of the Word in Action Church in Bortiarnor, Accra, have been trapped after their church building collapsed.
The church collapse occurred within the past few hours at the church premises in Bortianor, UTV Ghana reports.
According to a video shared by the channel, members of the church’s congregation were having a sort of service when the building collapsed.

Sharing the video, UTV Ghana wrote on Instagram: “Word in Action Church’ Worshippers trapped as Church building collapses at Old Bortiano,”
Reacting to the news, fans were shocked that a church was holding service at such a time!
“Tuesday church service ??” one netizen wrote.
Another netizen said anyone in that area knew that the building was due for a collapse.
“Anybody who stays in the area knew it was a matter of time. The building was constructed so quick and the roof always leaked heavy what it rains,” another added.
A third fan simply opined: “If the pastor decides to create a tent beside the collapsed building tomorrow, they will still go to church. Ghanafuor😂 smh,”
