Bashir El-Rufai, the son of Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, took to Twitter to criticize rapper and activist Falz for choosing to undergo knee surgery abroad instead of in Nigeria.
Falz had recently undergone the surgery in the UK.
Bashir taunted Falz for not choosing a Nigerian hospital, particularly the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.
He also expressed disappointment that a “bona fide human rights activist” like Falz would choose to have his surgery abroad.
Bashir’s tweet quoted a post about Falz’s surgery and read, “UK? He didn’t go to LASUTH as a bona-fide human rights activist? Disappointing.”
