May 15, (THEWILL) – Kechi Okwuchi, a Sosoliso Plane crash survivor, has bagged a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, London.
She took to Instagram to share a video from her graduation ceremony while thanking her family and the institution for their assistance and support during her period of study.
Okwuchi was in the ill-fated Sosoliso plane 1145 that crashed in December 2005, claiming 107 lives of which 59 were her schoolmates at Loyola Jesuit College.
She received a third-degree burn of 65% on her body and was given a 30% chance of survival.
She had to undergo several constructive surgeries before she could get back on her feet again.
