Lawyer Congratulates Prince Oseni On Selection As Alale of Akungba

High Chief Tolu Babaleye, a prominent legal practitioner and Alara of Araromi Quarters, Akungba-Akoko, has congratulated Prince Love Oseni Isiaka Adu on his approval as the new Alale of Akungba, following the Supreme Court’s judgment and the Ondo State Government’s announcement.

In a statement, Chief Babaleye described the appointment as a historic milestone, marking the end of a 20-year struggle and symbolizing perseverance, peace, and faith.

He likened Prince Oseni’s determination to a snail climbing the ‘Iroko’ tree, and wished him a long, prosperous reign that promotes unity and development in Akungba-Akoko, a university town.

The legal practitioner urged the new Alale to unite the community, collaborate with stakeholders to curb crime, and drive progress.

He expressed gratitude to Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa for upholding justice, Deputy Governor Dr. Olayide Adelami for his support, and Dr. Olukayode Ajulo, Attorney General of Ondo State, for his commitment to truth.

He also commended Alhaji Hamidu Takuro, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and the State Executive Council for their contributions.

Additionally, Babaleye acknowledged Hon. Tope Agbulu, representing Akoko Southwest Constituency 2, for his exemplary representation, and Barr. Sam Ologunorisa SAN, Otunba Dr. Bode Iwaloye, and Prof. Bode Ekundayo for their steadfast support.

He paid tribute to former Attorney General Sir Titiolye Charles SAN for his principled stance on the Alale matter during his tenure.

As a human rights activist, he called for unity, urging those who opposed the new Oba to set aside differences and support the king, emphasizing that “only God crowns a king.”

He encouraged all Akungba sons and daughters to unite for a brighter future for the community.
