Kebbi Gov Idris approves ₦1.14bn for 445 retirees’ gratuities

Kebbi State Governor Dr Nasir Idris has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the welfare of workers and pensioners in the state with the approval of ₦1,144,428,745.74 for the payment of gratuities and death benefits.

The approved funds are for retired state and contract staff, as well as personnel of the Local Government and Local Government Education Authority (LGEA).

The payments cover the period from December 16, 2024, to March 15, 2025, benefiting a total of 445 individuals.

This gesture by Governor Nasir Idris reflects his administration’s continuous efforts to prioritise the well-being of workers and their families, especially those who have served the state diligently and are deserving of their entitlements.

Idris, who has consistently emphasised the importance of dignity in labour and reward for service, reiterated his administration’s dedication to ensuring that no beneficiary is left behind in the collection of their entitlements.
