BBNaija’s Sultana Reveals Why She Chose Islam Over Christianity

In a chat with fellow housemate Zita, the 25-year-old model shared that her decision was personal and shaped by her upbringing.

BBNaija Season 10 housemate, Sultana, has revealed she chose to practise Islam despite being raised in a home influenced by both Christianity and Islam.

In a chat with fellow housemate Zita, the 25-year-old model shared that her decision was personal and shaped by her upbringing.

Zita had asked, “Are your parents strict Muslims?”

In response, Sultana explained, “No, I grew up going to both church and mosque, my mom is a Christian. At some point I got baptized in Catholic, my baptismal name is Josephine. I just decided to choose the religion that works best for me, which is Islam.”

Sultana revealed her father is a Muslim from Adamawa and her mother a Christian from Cross River.

Though she once practised Catholicism, she said Islam resonated more with her spiritually, leading to her decision.
