Atiku Grants Scholarships to 3 Nigerian Teen Girls After Global Win

Three young Nigerian stars, Nafisa Abdullahi, Rukaiya Mohammed Fema, and Khadija Kashim Kalli, stole global headlines after triumphing in the TeenEagle Global Finals, a prestigious 2025 academic competition held in the United Kingdom.

In recognition of their achievement, the Atiku Abubakar Foundation (AAF) has generously offered them fully funded scholarships covering the rest of their secondary education and their entire university journey. 

About the Competition & the Winners

TeenEagle Global Finals included over 20,000 students from 69 countries and tested contestants on English language skills, critical thinking, communication, and debate.

Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu (17) was named the global best in English proficiency,

Rukaiya Mohammed Fema (15) earned the top debate award,

Khadija Kashim Kalli received the Outstanding Talent (Gold Medal) honor.

What the Scholarship Covers

According to AAF, the scholarships will cover all educational expenses, even extending to the university of their choice, with the aim of empowering the girls to pursue their academic dreams without financial restraints.

Atiku himself weighed in, stating, “When you invest in the education of a girl child, you are invariably investing in the education of a prospective family and community.

A Symbol of Empowerment

The AAF emphasized that this initiative is more than a reward, it is a testament to what dedication and talent can achieve when backed by opportunity. By supporting outstanding young women, the Foundation reaffirms its commitment to expanding access to quality education, particularly for girls and underserved communities
