The workshop was funded by the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA) and supported by Hajiya Fatima Dikko Radda, the wife of the Katsina State Governor, who attended as a special guest.
In her remarks, Radda highlighted the importance of mindset transformation as the foundation for sustainable entrepreneurship.
She emphasised the need for young people in the state to “rise above traditional limitations and begin to think as builders of businesses that solve real problems and create jobs.”
The two main facilitators of the workshop, Abdulrasheed, founder and CEO of Business Leadership Consulting, and Ahmad, founder of Turaren Wuta by Ray and Rays Business Lab, delivered practical sessions focused on business development, entrepreneurial mindset, and vision-driven enterprise building.
The duo, popularly referred to as the “King and Queen of the North,” brought real-life experiences, business insight, and local relevance to the sessions.
Abdulrasheed stressed the importance of rethinking how youth approach business: “We are not here to create just business people — we are here to raise visionaries who will drive innovation and transform our communities and economy, starting with Katsina State.”

“This is about more than money. It’s about empowering young people to become the solution providers our society desperately needs,” she said.
The facilitators aimed to help Katsina youths become impactful entrepreneurs, innovators, and job creators, transforming both lives and the economy.
The Mindset Reset Workshop created an opportunity for dialogue, mentorship, and exposure to tested business principles, laying the groundwork for future entrepreneurial initiatives across the state.
