Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has set a new record after being named the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Men’s Player of the Year for the third time.
Salah becomes the first footballer to win the award on three occasions.
He was outstanding during Liverpool’s title-winning campaign last season. The Egyptian international finished as the Premier League’s top scorer in the 2024/25 season, netting 29 goals and providing 18 assists.

Other nominees for the award included Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister, Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, Chelsea forward Cole Palmer, and Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice.
The Liverpool star also claimed the Premier League Player of the Season and the Football Writers’ Association (FWA) Footballer of the Year awards.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers was named the PFA Young Player of the Year.
