Manchester City defender Ruben Dias has signed a contract extension with the former Premier League Champions.
The Portuguese international signed a two-year extended deal, which will keep him at the Etihad until the summer of 2029, with an option to extend by an extra year. The Portugal international has been a key part of the success at Manchester City since he moved to the Etihad, having won four league titles, the Champions League, the EFL Cup, and the FA Cup during his five years at the club.
He joined Benfica for a fee of £65 million in 2020 and was named Premier League player of the year at the end of his first season.

Now the hard work begins, and I want to promise the fans that I will give everything to win more trophies and bring more success to City.”
Manchester City will shift its attention to some of the senior players who have a year or less left on their current contract. Defender Rico Lewis is one of the players of the club’s list is also close to signing a five-year deal with the Cityzens.
