Lalong Commends Abiodun, Abdulrazaq For Condolence Visit To Yilwatda Over Mother’s Passing

JOS – Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State Simon Bako Lalong has appreciated Governor Abdulrasaq Abdulrahman of Kwara State and Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State visit to Jos on a condolence visit to APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshewe over the loss of his mother.

Senator Lalong together with former Governor Joshua Dariye accompanied the two Governors who came to commiserate with the APC leader.

Speaking at the visit, Governor of Kwara State and Chairman Nigerian Governors Forum described the loss of Mama Lydia Yilwatda as a big loss to the people of Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

He conveyed the condolences of the Governors of Nigeria and urged Prof Nentawe and other members of the family to take solace in the fact that she lived a life of service.

On his part, Governor Dapo Abiodun spoke on behalf of South West Governors Forum where he paid glowing tribute to the late mother of the APC Chairman.

He prayed God to grant her soul eternal rest and comfort the family.

Responding, Professor Nentawe thanked them for the visit and said the family was comforted by the enormous show of support.

Senator Lalong also appreciated the solidarity from his former colleagues to the national APC Chairman and the people of Plateau State.
