Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi provided an assist to help Fulham hold Manchester United to a 1-1 draw in the Premier League on Sunday.
Iwobi’s national teammate, Calvin Bassey was also in action for Fulham, and his defensive capacity stopped Red Devils forward, Bryan Mbeumo.
United went ahead early in the second half when Leny Yoro’s deflected header put them ahead and officially went down as a Rodrigo Muniz own goal.

Bruno Fernandez then had the opportunity to double United’s lead as a penalty was awarded following Bassey’s challenge on Mason Mount, but the Portuguese failed to convert.
The hosts then fought back in the 74th minute when Smith Rowe turned home Iwobi’s cross for their equaliser, and they held on to take a point from the game.
In the other English topflight games played on Sunday, Crystal Palace also played a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest while Everton beat Brighton 2-0.
