It was a humiliating night for Manchester United as they lost on penalties to League Two club, Grimsby Town in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.
Grimsby stayed on top for most part of the game as they were 2-0 ahead up till the 75th minute.
Charles Vernam opened scoring for the hosts in the 22nd minute and Tyrell Warren doubled their lead on the half hour mark.

After a consistent push, Red Devils forward Bryan Mbeumo scored with 15 minutes remaining to give visitors hope before Harry Maguire header made it 2-2.
The game was forced into penalty shootout and Grimsby won 12-11 to advance from the second round of the competition.
Elsewhere, Super Eagles duo of Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi were in action as second-half substitutes for Fulham in their 2-0 victory over Bristol City.
Brighton beat Oxford 6-0 while Everton defeated Mansfield Town 2-0.
