Abuja-Kaduna road now safe. I travelled without security

The former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, says the Abuja-Kaduna highway is now far safer than it used to be.

While speaking to newsmen after a tour of the road on Thursday, August 27, Omokri claimed that the once dreaded road has become safe under the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

“I didn’t come here with security and I’m here, safe and sound. I have a lot of people who are political opponents to me. I have a lot of people who want to see the worst happen to me. But yet, I’m here to prove that this road is safe.”

Omokri said military outposts have been stationed at intervals along the highway.

“Abuja to Kaduna road is safe. There are security outposts at every kilometre. And those military outposts are mobile. The security is not just happening by faith, it is happening by works of the government. Tinubu administration has done a lot of work here.”he said
