A Nigerian bride has shared the heartwarming story of how she met her husband most unexpectedly, on a bike ride they both happened to share eight years ago.
On their wedding day, the bride excitedly shared that their love story began on an ordinary day when they were both heading to the same destination.
She recalled how she was about to board a motorcycle when the rider asked if he should transport two passengers.
In a hurry, she replied that another passenger, who eventually became her husband, could join her, as she didn’t have enough fare for herself.
During the ride, she noticed that her hair was bothering the other passenger (her husband), so she gently held her hair forward and asked if it was obstructing his view.
After they reached their destination, her husband thanked her for being considerate during the ride and requested her phone number.
They stayed in touch afterward, and that brief, random trip turned out to be the start of a beautiful love story. Now, eight years later, they have officially tied the knot.
The post has garnered traction online, with netizens hoping to board a motorcyclist locally known as “okada” to encounter their future partners.
Some online users went the extra mile to ask the bride about the location where she boarded the bike, while others enjoyed their love story.
