Traffic: YOROTA boss, Goniri, commends Gov Buni over fly-over construction

In an effort to control traffic congestion along major roads in Yobe state , the Yobe State Road Traffic Management Board, (YOROTA), has taken a bold step in controlling traffic especially around the on-going construction site of the newly initiated Fly-Over round about in Damaturu , the Yobe State capital .

It will be recalled that the administration of Gov . Mai Mala Buni has had initiated laudable projects that shows that dividend of democracy is been delivered to Yobeans .

The General Manager/ Commandant of the agency, Babagana Alh .Modu Goniri has commended the efforts of the state Governor , Dr Mai – Mala Buni in rendering the necessary assistance to the agency .

According to him, the construction work of the Fly-Over in Damaturu has undoubtedly increased the traffic hold-up across the state capital which equally increased their effort in putting in the best to ease the gridlock .

The present work- load is on the increase hence the need for government Support to YOROTA is paramount importance especially in terms of logistics .

Bature Goniri also commended Governor Mai-Mala Buni for the bold step taken to construct the Fly-Over which will undoubtedly reduced traffic congestion in Damaturu .

YOROTA which is spread across the 17 local government areas of the state prosecute traffic offenders according to the gravity of their offences .
