Co-founder of band Supertramp, Rick Davies, has passed away at the age of 81
According to a report from TMZ , Rick Davies died at his home on Long Island on Friday, September 5, 2025, after a prolonged battle with cancer.
Rick Davies leaves behind his beloved wife, Sue Davies , whom he married in 1977.
During his lifetime, he played a crucial role in shaping the band’s sound by blending progressive rock.
Additionally, he continued to lead Supertramp after Roger Hodgson’s departure in 1983 and stopped due to health concerns.
Meanwhile, condolences and tributes are pouring in from fans over his passing, which has left an irreplaceable void.
