A Nigerian man, Douglas B. Jatau, has shared a story about his wife’s closest friend who was divorced by her husband over another woman.
Mr Jatau shared the story in reaction to a Facebook post stigmatizing divorced women.
One Joe Gado had written:
“It’s 80% true most women are emotional being they learn bad things faster than good things.
He continued:
“As a married man, if you allow your wife to continue associating with a divorced woman, your marriage is at risk.”
According to Jatau, the man divorced his wife and married another woman who dealt with him mercilessly, leading to the end of the marriage.

He said the man and his ex wife later got back together after he begged for forgiveness.
Mr Jatau advised people not to be quick to judge divorced women because it isn’t always their fault.
