Big Brother Naija Season 10’s Week 7 ended on a bittersweet note Sunday night as Denari and Tracy bowed out of the game, closing what had been dubbed a “soft life week” after the housemates had previously endured a “bare minimum” stretch.
Head of House Thelma caused a stir during her chat with host Ebuka when she admitted it appeared she was leading the division in the house. Thelma, however, made it clear she was unfazed by the perception.
“I’m not here to make friends and I’m not here to unite anybody as everybody has their own different personalities,” she declared.
The eviction twist began with Denari’s exit. Speaking to Ebuka, he described the week as “tough,” especially after the departure of his girlfriend Doris the previous week. Despite the emotional strain, Denari insisted he gave his all.
“I did my best, especially with our wager presentations and other tasks,” he said.
Tracy was next to leave the competition. A chemical engineer by training, Ekwe Tracy was reminded by Ebuka of a comment she had made earlier in the week about wanting to go home.
Asked if that influenced the viewers’ decision, she disagreed.
“I don’t think what I said influenced anything. If they wanted me to stay, I would have stayed. But you guys wanted me out, so yeah, I’m out,” she responded.
Reflecting on her BBNaija journey, Tracy described her story in the house as “amazing” and on her close bond with Zita, she admitted she loved being her authentic self in that relationship. Looking ahead, she said, “I don’t know what’s next, but we’ll see.”
With two more housemates gone and tensions rising over alliances and divisions, viewers are left wondering who will hold their ground as the game edges closer to its final stretch.
