Billionaire and Tesla founder Elon Musk’s estranged father, Errol Musk, has been accused of sexually abusing five of his children and stepchildren, allegations he has repeatedly denied.

The report draws on police and court records, social workers’ notes, personal correspondence, and interviews with family members.
The assault claims were also republished by Page Six, reporting that the earliest allegation surfaced in 1993, when Errol’s stepdaughter, Jana Bezuidenhout, then just four years old, allegedly told relatives that he had touched her inappropriately.
A decade later, she reportedly accused him of sniffing her underwear after walking into her bedroom.
Family members contacted police and informed Elon of the incident, but Errol denied the claim, saying he had only been cleaning her messy room.
Did Elon Musk’s family file a case against Errol? Relatives also accused him of abusing two daughters and a stepson. Police were alerted at the time, but prosecutors dropped the case, citing a lack of evidence.
“There was no evidence because this is nonsense,” Errol told the New York Times, dismissing the allegations as fabricated attempts by relatives to extract money from his billionaire son. Errol said he was only aware of one accusation but offered explanations for two other reported incidents. He has never been convicted of a crime.
The investigation also revealed that some family members have sought financial assistance from Elon.
In 2023, the Tesla CEO, 54, was reportedly providing $1,700 a month to support his former stepsister.
Elon and his father’s representatives have not commented on the matter that is now attracting public attention.
