Reality TV star, Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bambam, has shared wise counsel with the singles asking them to delay having sex until they are certain about marriage.
Bambam, on the Echo Room podcast, stated that this approach can help build a stronger foundation for a lasting partnership.
She said:
“I would advice anybody dating, if you can keep sex out of the mix till you’re sure of getting married just do it.”
She also shared a candid account of her marital journey, describing it as both challenging and rewarding.
Talking about her marriage with fellow reality TV star, Tope “Teddy A” Adenibuyan, the mom of two revealed that their love story, which blossomed into marriage after the birth of their first child, was far from a “fairy tale.”
The actress admitted that at some point, they both questioned whether their marriage was truly the will of God, as differences and personal growth brought clashes into their relationship.

She stated:
“I began to evolve as a woman, and he too was discovering himself. Our differences started to clash, and many times we asked ourselves why we were even here. But I held on to God and His promises for my marriage.”
The actress explained that counseling, therapy, and prayer played a crucial role in helping them navigate the difficulties of marriage.
According to her, Teddy A’s decision to surrender his life to Christ became a turning point in their marriage, making things easier and strengthening their bond.
“My greatest joy through the journey has been him having a personal relationship with God. That has been the sweetener,”
she added.
Despite the hurdles, she described marriage as a “learning curve” that has made them fall in love with each other repeatedly through every trial they overcame.

She concluded by affirming that with God at the center, marriage is not without trials, but every challenge becomes an opportunity for growth, making the love journey sweeter over time.
