President Bola Tinubu has summoned the former Rivers State sole administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd), to the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The former Chief of Navy Staff drove to the seat of power at about 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
A few minutes later, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, and the Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Wale Edun, arrived at the State House.
However, the reason for the meeting has not been ascertained.

Ibok completed his tenure as Rivers administrator last week, following the lifting of the emergency rule on the oil-rich state by the President.
President Tinubu, on March 18, appointed the ex-navy chief as Rivers’ sole administrator after the suspension of Governor Siminilayi Fubara, his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu, and members of the State House of Assembly over their roles in the political crisis in the state.
The Assembly had last week vowed to probe Ibok’s six-month tenure in the state.
