Atiku’s coalition takes final decision in bid to samk President Tinubu

Bolaji Abdullahi, the interim national publicity secretary of the movement, disclosed that the development was part of the party leaders’ resolutions in Abuja on Thursday, September 25.

Source: Twitter APC orders members in other parties According to Daily Trust, the ADC further asked his members, which included Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Aminu Tambuwal of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Nasir El-Rufai of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), to resign from their party and fully join the ADC.

The meeting was led by the interim national chairman and former Senate President, David Mark, and Rauf Aregbesola, the national secretary. Other leaders in Attendance were former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Kaduna, Sokoto and Rivers governors, Nasir El-Rufai, Aminu Tambuwal and Chibuike Amaechi.

According to Abdullahi, the coalition caucus had concluded on the association, stating that the movement is no longer interested in the registration of the ADA, saying that the “Coalition has rested everything concerning the ADA.”

APC leaders agreed to support party’s candidate Abdullahi also disclosed that the presidential aspirants of the party have agreed to support anyone who emerges as the winner of the party’s primaries, while speaking on the 2027 presidential election.

His statement reads in part:

“All the presidential aspirants have agreed to support whoever wins the primary election.” Atiku speaks on meeting with ADC leaders Earlier, former vice president Atiku announced his presence at the meeting with the leadership of the ADC, which was led by its interim national chairman and former Senate President Mark in Abuja.

In the post, the former vice president described the administration of President Tinubu as “oligarchs who promote poverty and insecurity in the land.” Since he lost to Tinubu, Atiku has led the calls to sack the ruling APC in the 2027 presidential election.

Some opposition leaders, including Labour Party 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi, a former presidential aspirant in the APC, have joined Atiku’s coalition, making their voice and presence known during the coalition’s adoption of the ADC.
