Bad Bunny to Headline 2026 Super Bowl LX Halftime Show

Bad Bunny has been revealed as the headliner for the 2026 Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show.

He follows in the footsteps of Grammy-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar, who took the Super Bowl LIX stage by storm earlier this year.

The recording artist posted the news on his Instagram account on Sunday night with the caption: “Super Bowl LX. Bay Area. February 2026. #AppleMusicHalftime.”

Moments later, Apple Music, the NFL and Roc Nation shared the news, which was also announced during NBC Sports’ Sunday Night Football coverage of the Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys on NBC and Peacock.

“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown. This is for my people, my culture and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el Halftime Show Del Super Bowl,” Bad Bunny said in a statement.

Commented Roc Nation founder Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter: “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage.”

Bad Bunny joins a coveted list of artists who have gotten the opportunity to headline the NFL’s biggest night, including Lamar, Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen, Diana Ross, Katy Perry, The Weeknd, Usher, The Rolling Stones and Bruno Mars, among many others.

The Puerto Rican singer, a three-time Grammy winner, will host NBC’s Saturday Night Live Season 51 premiere, with musical guest Doja Cat, on Oct. 4. He’s also recently added acting to his resume, with credits including Bullet Train, Happy Gilmore 2 and Caught Stealing.

Said Jon Barker, senior vp global event production for the NFL.: “Bad Bunny represents the global energy and cultural vibrancy that define today’s music scene. As one of the most influential and streamed artists in the world, his unique ability to bridge genres, languages, and audiences makes him an exciting and natural choice to take the Super Bowl halftime stage. We know his dynamic performances, creative vision, and deep connection with fans will deliver the kind of unforgettable experience we’ve come to expect from this iconic cultural moment.”

Added Oliver Schusser, Apple vp music, sports and Beats: “The Halftime Show is the ultimate celebration of music and culture, and few artists embody that intersection more perfectly and authentically than Bad Bunny,. At Apple Music, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with Bad Bunny over the years and watching his meteoric rise into one of the most influential artists of our time has been truly incredible. His music has not only broken records but has elevated Latin music to the center of pop-culture and we are thrilled to once again partner with the NFL and Roc Nation to deliver this historic performance to millions of fans worldwide. We know this show will be unforgettable.”

Super Bowl LX will air on NBC and stream on Peacock. The game will take place on Sunday, Feb. 8, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, home of the San Francisco 49ers.

The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show telecast will be produced by DPS with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins serving as executive producers, and Hamish Hamilton serving as director. Roc Nation also serves as the strategic entertainment advisor of the live performance.
