Ogun: Violence as student drowns while fleeing on seeing Amotekun during protest

A grave incident has happened in Ogun, as one student reportedly died and property was destroyed following a violent eruption at the Ilugun High School, Elega of Abeokuta, the state capital.

The violent incident was a result of the alleged illegal fee being collected by the teachers, and the trouble reportedly started on Friday, September 28.

Source: Twitter Daily Trust reported that the school management had invited the operatives of the Amotekun Corps in a move to disperse the protesting students against the fee they considered illegal.
