South-Africa: Cape Town beach lands on Travelers’ Choice “Best of the Best” list

One of Cape Town’s most famous beaches has been awarded a place among the elite few in TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best – Africa Beaches list.

The ‘Best of the Best’ list recognises less than one percent of all listings worldwide.

This particular accolade celebrates beaches that consistently receive outstanding reviews over a 12-month period, not just for their beauty, but for their atmosphere, amenities, safety, and visitor satisfaction.

Travelers’ Choice ranks the best beaches in Africa

TripAdvisor’s Best of the Best Beaches in Africa showcases 10 dreamy escapes: soft white sand, turquoise water, scenic surroundings, family-friendly safety, and unforgettable sunsets.

Among beaches from Seychelles, Zanzibar, Mauritius and beyond, Cape Town’s Camps Bay Beach has claimed its place, affirming the Mother City’s global reputation for coastline excellence.

The victorious beach, which featured at number six stands out for more than just its natural setting. It embodies what many visitors love about Cape Town’s shores: clear, well-maintained sands; a backdrop of mountains or rock formations; easy access; and a vibrant energy without sacrificing tranquillity.

Whether people come to swim, sunbathe, surf, or simply escape into nature, this beach delivers a balanced experience.

“Camp’s Bay Beach has it all: soft sand, crystal-clear waters, and stunning mountain views. Take a dip in the warm sea, or spend the day sunbathing, then grab a bite at a nearby cafe or restaurant. It has all the makings of a laid-back afternoon.” TripAdvisor said.
