Senator Ned Nwoko has finally opened up about the turmoil in his marriage to actress Regina Daniels, a shocking disclosure that has rocked both Nollywood and political circles.
The politician, in a post shared on his official X page (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, blamed the actress’s alleged drug and alcohol misuse for their continuous marital problems.
He asserted in his post tagged ‘‘REGINA’S UNPROVOKED CARNAGE AND RAMPAGE IN MY HOUSE AND IN MY ABSENCE’’ that Regina was not always this way and that their marital issues stem from her ongoing struggle with substance and alcohol usage, which has made her violent.
Ned, who stated that he has other wives who do not accuse him of violence, also noted that Regina has to move to a facility where she will complete her rehabilitation program, but has moved to a place where she will have unfettered access to drugs.
‘‘Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drug and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety. Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs.
‘’I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting 3 staff in the past 48 hours and destroying property, including cars and windows, for no just cause. The truth is, I have set a clear condition for her to accept rehab in Asokoro or outside Nigeria, especially in Jordan, where she will not have access to drugs.
‘‘A clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital, but instead she even threatened to kill our resident nurse (for exposing her drug abuse). While I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier. Another known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann”, he wrote.

Recall that the internet was thrown into a frenzy on Saturday as unconfirmed reports suggested that Regina Daniels had allegedly moved out of her matrimonial home following claims of domestic violence involving her husband, Ned Nwoko.
Adding fuel to the fire, a video surfaced on Saturday showing Regina in a visibly emotional state during a friend’s Instagram Live session, which many interpreted as a subtle confirmation of trouble at home.
She repeatedly said, “Ned sent his thugs,” while struggling to catch her breath.
At one point, Daniels was heard saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house I’m nothing, but in my house I’m a queen. I cannot stand the violence again; it’s too much.”
Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, also confirmed the speculation when he said on Saturday that Senator Ned Nwoko had beaten his sister and banged her head against the wall soon after a video of his distraught sister appeared online.
West, who made the accusation in a social media post, claimed that Nwoko sent goons to attack the young actress and pledged to protect women from domestic abuse.
“Makachi! E pain me say una wan finally laugh my sister. Let me repeat, anywhere wey man dey beat woman, whether na my sister or not, I go fight with my blood,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Senator Ned Nwoko, you get luck say after you beat my sister again, smash her head for wall, you run comot send thugs! I swear I for burst all your jaw!”
