Soludo Won Due To Our Collective Effort, Says Anambra Gov’s Aide

NNEWI – Special Adviser to Anambra State Governor on Youth Empowerment, Dr Nelson Omenugha, has noted in a recent chat with DAILY INDEPENDENT that it was the collective effort of Anambra people that earned Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo victory at the November 8 Governorship Election in Anambra.

Some Parties and their candidates had accused one another of Vote buying and selling of votes during the just concluded Governorship Election in the state.

Governor Soludo had been returned reelected by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC ) after the electoral umpire declared him winner in the twenty- one Local Government Areas in Anambra for scoring the highest number of votes cast in them.

Reacting in an interview with Daily Independent on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 , Omenugha who cast his vote at Nnobi in Idemili South Local Government Area of the state noted that the people voted according to their conscience, stressing that Governor Soludo’s victory in the election was due to hard work, joint and collective efforts of the youths and other class of Anambra people who saw the need to vote for APGA and Governor Soludo in the election for peace, progress and development of Anambra.

Omenugha who expressed happiness at the outcome of the election also expressed appreciation to the Nnobi and entire Anambra people for voting for APGA in the election.

Thanking the Nnobi people for massively voting for Soludo in the election, he assured the people and the youths in the state of more democracy dividends from the Soludo administration.

Omenugha said the allegation of vote buying was allegedly an emanation from a group who failed to deliver their candidate during the election, adding that the results gathered from the various polling units in the state was true voice of the people.

“The election was peaceful. INEC officials arrived Nnobi at 7 am. I am glad on the outcome of the election.  Anambra’ people have spoken . It was a victory not just for APGA or Soludo, it was a victory for Anambra Youths and Anambra people. Our victory was a dint of hard work and collective effort of Anambra people who saw the need to reelect governor Soludo for peace , progress and development of the state,” Omenugha said.
