She explained that the intruder seemed in no rush, taking his time surveying the house.

“Last night, around 23:00hrs, we had an unwanted guest. He was armed with a taser and a knife. What was shocking was that this visitor was very noisy. He banged the door loudly four times to force his way into the house,” she stated. Despite waking up, making noise in an attempt to scare him, and alerting the neighbours, Kamutumwa said the man was unfazed and continued to move through the house calmly.

“Once inside, he seemed in no hurry. We had woken up, gone into the corridor, and made so much noise. Despite this, he stood for a few minutes in the doorway leading to the rest of the house. He didn’t panic or rush; he simply waited,” she explained. Afterwards, Kamutumwa recalled how the man calmly left and walked out of the house without any rush, leaving them stunned.

She noted that they lacked the courage to step outside and follow him, assuming he had left the compound by jumping the wall.

Kamutumwa mentioned she had never experienced such an incident in her life, wondering how a thief or intruder could be so comfortable in someone else’s house.

“Before breaking and entering, he surveyed the house, trying to figure out which doors or windows would yield to his plans. He even wore a ski mask, like someone who knew there were cameras in the house. I’ve never seen anything like it,” she added. The woman explained that no one was hurt, and nothing was stolen during the ordeal, but they were left shaken.
