Kano Hisbah arrests 10 over alleged immoral activities

Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested ten persons for alleged involvement in immoral activities at a joint along Zoo Road in Kano metropolis.

The Board’s Deputy Commander-General, Mujahideen Aminudeen, confirmed the development in a statement issued to journalists on Wednesday in Kano.

Aminudeen said the arrests were carried out on Tuesday night following persistent complaints from residents about unlawful activities in the area.

“I am happy to announce that our operatives were able to arrest seven pimps in a joint at Zoo Road in Kano, where young women and men gather together and engage in all sorts of immoral acts,” he said.

He explained that while some of the suspects were from Kano, others came from Bauchi and Kogi states.

“The most disturbing thing is that the oldest among them is just 23 years old,” he added.
