NPFL: Ashifat upbeat Kwara United will end barren run against Tornadoes

Kwara United technical adviser Suleiman Ashifat has urged his players to approach their Matchday 16 clash against Niger Tornadoes with determination.

The Harmony Boys will face the Ikon Allah Boys at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl Stadium in Ilorin on Sunday.

Kwara United will be aiming to return to winning ways after a four-game winless run in the league.

Ashifat expressed confidence in his team’s readiness for the encounter.

“Areas of loopholes have been corrected, and we are ready for a fierce North Central battle in our next game against Niger Tornadoes,” he stated in a pre-match interview.

It will be recalled that Niger Tornadoes defeated Kwara United 2-1 in the same fixture last season.

Joseph Godstime and Ibrahim Sabiu scored for Niger Tornadoes, while Sadeeq Yusuf netted the consolation for Kwara United.
