Former Borno State Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, hosted the wedding of his son, Sadeeq Ali Sheriff, and Hadiza Alamin Kam Salem, in Borno State.
The ceremony drew high-profile guests, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and
Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum.
President Tinubu stood in as the groom’s father, while Governor Zulum represented the bride’s family and received the bride price, which was presented in gold coins, according to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
The marriage was conducted in line with Kanuri cultural rites and was attended by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and other dignitaries.
