Stephen Achema distributes gifts to the needy

Christmas 2025 will be celebrated with joy in Kogi State and Abuja as Dr Stephen Achema Akpa, chairman and chief executive officer of Zoe New Dawn Nigeria Limited and Rehoboth City Estate, distributed more than 6,000 bags of rice to families in need.

The outreach was structured to ensure fairness and inclusivity: 1,000 bags of rice were distributed to staff, and an additional 1,000 bags were given to non-staff beneficiaries.

In comparison, 4,000 bags were shared among households in Kogi East. Beneficiaries described the gesture as a lifeline during a season of economic strain.

Akpa’s philanthropy has been consistent and far-reaching. Through the Enemona Foundation, he has provided direct financial support to 50 individuals, with each beneficiary receiving N250,000 in October and November 2025, and an additional N6 million was disbursed to 25 more in December. His N5 million Facebook giveaway further extended his impact, ensuring 1,000 online beneficiaries received N5,000 each.

Beyond humanitarian interventions, Akpa is a cultural pillar, sponsoring Igala cultural events that preserve heritage and foster unity. His entrepreneurial achievements are equally formidable, with thriving real estate projects in Abuja’s prime districts, including Jahi, Kukwaba, Life Camp, Lugbe, and Gwarinpa, all distinguished by modern infrastructure and sustainable designs.

Community leaders have praised his Christmas outreach as a model of selfless leadership.

By combining grassroots distribution with digital empowerment, Dr Akpa continues to redefine philanthropy, leaving an enduring legacy of compassion, cultural pride, and transformation across Kogi and Abuja.
