Popular comedian, Carter Efe’s Twitch account has temporarily been suspended following his record-breaking livestream with Afrobeats superstar, Davido .
It would be recalled that Carter Efe’s livestream with Davido was aired on December 17, 2025.
The stream earned Carter Efe the title of Africa’s most-followed streamer on Twitch with over 405,000 followers .
During the livestream, Davido called Martell’s global marketing manager, securing an ambassadorial deal for Carter Efe.
Screenshot of a message sent to Carter Efe’s Gmail revealed that the reason for the temporary ban wasn’t disclosed.
However, Twitch stated that further violations could lead to severe action being taken on Carter Efe’s account.
Meanwhile, this has sparked mixed reactions online, with a recent report suggesting that Wizkid’s fanbase, widely known as FC, reported Carter Efe’s Twitch account.
