Christmas: Lawmaker Calls For Unity, Peace, National Progress

ABUJA – The Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Finance and Member representing Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency of Niger State, Rt. Hon. Saidu Musa Abdullahi (SMA), fondly known as Gwarzon Nupe, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Christian faithful within his constituency, Niger State, and across Nigeria.

Hon. Abdullahi described Christmas as a significant season that reflects the timeless values of love, sacrifice, humility, compassion, and hope, stressing that such virtues are indispensable to peaceful coexistence, unity, and sustainable national development.

In a Christmas goodwill message signed by his Senior Legislative Aide, Dodo Almustapha, the lawmaker expressed deep appreciation to Christian constituents of Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency for their unwavering support and continuous prayers over the years, noting that the encouragement has strengthened his resolve to deliver effective and people-centred representation.

He reaffirmed his commitment to serving the constituency with renewed dedication in the years ahead, assuring constituents that their continued support and prayers would further inspire his efforts to attract meaningful development and responsive governance.

The Deputy Chairman also extended goodwill to his Distinguished and Honourable colleagues in the National Assembly, as well as his Christian friends and associates across the country. He urged Nigerians, irrespective of religious belief or ethnic background, to promote peace, unity, tolerance, and mutual respect as foundations for national harmony.

Hon. Abdullahi further offered prayers for lasting peace, stability, and progress in Nigeria, calling on leaders at all levels of government to lead with wisdom, fairness, and compassion in the overall interest of the people.

He wished Christians a joyful Christmas celebration and prayed for a peaceful, prosperous, and fulfilling New Year for all Nigerians.
