The Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has announced plans to immortalise two members of the House of Assembly who passed away while in active service to the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Thursday.
Governor Yusuf made the disclosure on Wednesday during the 36th State Executive Council (SEC) meeting held at the Government House, Kano.

The announcement coincided with the formal presentation of the 2026 Budget Estimate Document to the governor for executive assent by the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ismail Jibril Falgore.
