The US Vice President, JD Vance has backed President Donald Trump-led military action in Venezuela.
DAILY POST recalls that Trump on Saturday morning said Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife were captured and flown out of the Country.
The president confirmed a “large scale strike” carried out by the US forces, as explosions were reported in many parts of Venezuela.
The development has been generating mixed reactions across the world.
Reacting, JD Vance in a post on his X handle, said Trump was clear about his missing before the strike, stating that Maduro now found out that Trump meant his words.
He wrote, “The president offered multiple off ramps, but was very clear throughout this process: the drug trafficking must stop, and the stolen oil must be returned to the United States.
“Maduro is the newest person to find out that President Trump means what he says.
“Kudos to our brave special operators who pulled off a truly impressive operation”.
