Samira Suleiman, wey be the Public Relations Officer, come talk say, ‘Na dem investigation wey Executive Secretary, Mansur Mudi Nagoda, order make dem carry out to catch wetin really happen.’ Dem find say the wahala no be small, as Aishatu Umar, wey be mother of five, don suffer for stomach pain after the surgery wey happen since September 2025.
As we hear am from her family member, Aishatu begin dey complain about serious abdominal pain. Dem say she die around 1am on Tuesday after dem do some tests and discover say dem left scissors for her body during the surgery. Abeg, how person go leave scissors inside human body? E no fit mean say dem no follow procedure? E don bad!
The board na clear say dem no go take negligence lightly. ‘We dey reassure the public say our main focus na to prevent any negligence and maintain the trust of our patients,’ dem talk. The three staff wey dem suspend go sit down dey lounge till justice carry the matter reach ground. Dem don transfer the case go Kano State Medical Ethical Committee make dem do proper investigation and take necessary actions.
