In a remarkable display of commitment to education and community development, Damuli Investment, led by Alhaji Liman Muhammad Dabuwa, has made significant contributions to various educational initiatives in Yobe State during 2024 and 2025.
The total investment in education has surpassed an impressive ₦90 million, aimed at supporting schools, orphans, and students across the region.
Key highlights of their educational support include: A substantial ₦9.1m was allocated for the purchase of mattresses and bedding materials for Mai Bukar Boarding Primary School.
“Prior to government approvals, the company provided ₦10.5m for three months of feeding support for students at the same primary school”.
“In August 2025, a generous contribution of ₦38.5 million was made to Mai Bukar Boarding School, covering teaching and learning materials, computers, food supplies for educators, and gifts presented during graduation ceremonies”.
“Damuli Investment also paid school registration fees for 15 orphan students at FGGC Potiskum, amounting to ₦3.1 million”.
“Supporting the cultural sector, the company contributed ₦11 million to the Yobe State Annual Qur’anic Recitation Competition held in Machina in 2025, funding gifts and feeding for participants”.
“Furthering higher education, Damuli assisted over 150 students at various higher institutions with registration fees, totaling ₦13.75 million.
A prompt response to an emergency, the company provided building materials to Yobe State University after a fire outbreak, ensuring the swift restoration of facilities”.
Others are “Supporting access to education, ₦1.6 million was allocated for sponsorship of entrance exams for prospective students of Mai Bukar Boarding School from all ten political wards of Machina Local Government Area”.
“Damuli Investment also pledged support to the medical college in Damaturu, signifying their commitment to advancing health education in the state.
Lastly, the company earmarked ₦500,000 for essential teaching and learning materials for GSS Machina”.
As part of their ongoing efforts, Damuli Investment has also committed ₦2,025,000 for the second and third term fees of 15 orphans from Machina Local Government, showcasing their dedication to uplifting the most vulnerable members of the community.
