Ardova Plc has achieved the ISO 27001:2022 certification, a globally recognised standard for information security management systems, reinforcing its commitment to safeguarding customer and employee data.
The certification, awarded after a rigorous audit process, assessed the company’s information security policies, procedures and technical controls across departments handling sensitive data. The exercise was coordinated by Ardova’s Technology and Digital Department, led by Mr Kamil Adebumola, with support from Cyberstage Systems Ltd, an accredited ISO consulting and certification firm.
The audit involved multiple phases of evaluation and system enhancement, aimed at strengthening Ardova’s capacity to identify, manage and mitigate information security risks in line with international best practices.
The ISO 27001 certificate was formally presented to the company during a brief ceremony at Ardova Plc’s head office in Lagos. The event was attended by the Managing Director, Group Financial Controller, Head of Digital and Analytics, as well as ISO Champions drawn from various units responsible for data protection.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Managing Director, Mr Moshood Olajide, described the certification as a significant milestone for the organisation.
“This certification is a testament to Ardova Plc’s commitment to adhering to the highest standards of information security, risk management and compliance,” Olajide said. “It goes beyond compliance; it reflects our dedication to trust, resilience and excellence in safeguarding information, while reassuring our stakeholders that we are aligned with global standards and prepared for the future.”
According to him, information security remains central to Ardova’s operations, particularly as the company continues to deepen its digital transformation initiatives.
The ISO 27001 certification positions Ardova Plc among organisations with robust information security frameworks that ensure data confidentiality, integrity and availability, while supporting sound corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
The achievement marks another step in Ardova Plc’s drive towards operational excellence and the adoption of global best practices across its business operations.
