Okpebholo Inaugurates Tinubu Re-Election Coordinators, Says You Can’t Replace Performing President

BENIN – Edo State Governor, Senator Mon­day Okpebholo, has declared that it is impossible to replace a performing President like Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the President’s bold and cou­rageous reforms are already trans­forming Nigeria.

Governor Okpebholo made the declaration during the inauguration of Senatorial, Local Government Area (LGA), and Youth Coordinators for President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election.

The governor who spoke at the event held at the Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub along Airport Road, Benin City commended President Tinubu for his reforms in key sectors such as petroleum, security, educa­tion, and the economy.

He urged Edo people to support the President’s return to Aso Rock for a second term in 2027

“I promised Mr President 2.5 mil­lion votes. Our party chairman, Jar­rett Tenebe, added to it, the women leader also added, and now we have 3.9 million votes in our kitty and Edo people must deliver on this prom­ise,” Okpebholo said.

He expressed confidence that Edo citizens across all demographics, in­cluding the elderly and youths, are ready to mobilise massively for the President.

“It is not just about agenda; it is about capacity to mobilise. Edo peo­ple are prepared. Nobody can beat Asiwaju’s record in governance. We cannot replace a man who is performing,” he added.

Governor Okpebholo further stated that with 30 APC governors nationwide, President Tinubu’s re-election campaign is already strengthened, stressing that victory in 2027 is assured.

He charged local government chairmen across the 18 LGAs to erect at least 20 billboards each and ensure the Renewed Hope message reaches grassroots communities, re­ligious institutions, churches, and mosques.

“The religious groups must hear this message. Churches and mosques must be involved. Religious groups will be inaugurated soon,” he said.

In his remarks, Deputy Governor Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa pledged to­tal loyalty to Governor Okpebholo, assuring him of strong support in delivering Edo State for President Tinubu.

“No one can use me against the governor. I am loyal, and I stand with you 100 per cent. Together, we will deliver Edo for President Tinubu in 2027,” Idahosa said.

Also speaking, the Coordinator of the Office of the First Lady of Edo State, Edesili Okpebholo Anani, as­sured that Edo women are solidly behind the APC, noting that wom­en make up 51 per cent of the voting population in the state.

Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Ag­bebaku, said Governor Okpebholo’s performance would further inspire the mobilisation of votes for Presi­dent Tinubu.

Edo APC Chairman, Jarrett Ten­ebe, commended the governor’s de­velopmental strides, describing his administration as one that is turning Edo State around and improving the lives of residents.

He also praised the Edo State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Sylvester Aiggboboh, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver the required votes for the President.

In his welcome address, Aiggbob­oh applauded President Tinubu’s bold reforms, stating that they are attracting investors and renewing hope among Nigerians. He noted that the gains from the removal of fuel subsidies are beginning to man­ifest.
