Tinubu to visit Kebbi Saturday

President Bola Tinubu will embark on a one-day official visit to Kebbi State on Saturday.

The President is expected to inaugurate projects executed by Governor Nasir Idris during the visit.

The Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, Bayo Onanuga, who disclosed  this in a statement on Friday in Abuja, said Tinubu would also attend the 61st edition of the 2026 Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival as special guest of honour.

The festival is one of Africa’s most celebrated cultural events.

It is staged by the riverside of the historic Matan Fada, recognised by the United Nations Scientific and Cultural Organization ( UNESCO) as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
