According to KUCCPS, the application window will remain open until April 1, 2026, and targets candidates who sat their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination in 2025 and preceding years.

Interested applicants have been advised to submit their applications online through the KUCCPS Student’s Portal available on the KUCCPS website.

Candidates who need help with the application process can visit the KUCCPS offices at ACK Garden House on 1st Ngong Avenue in Nairobi.

Assistance is also available at Kenya Utalii College and at any of the 58 Huduma Centres located across the country.

The development marks a significant shift in how students join the institution, which has historically admitted learners directly.

It represents a new chapter for Kenya Utalii College, a long-standing training institution that has played a central role in shaping the country’s tourism workforce.

However, the latest partnership now integrates Kenya Utalii College into the KUCCPS placement system, placing it among institutions that rely on the platform to admit students.

Kenya Utalii College is the latest institution outside the Ministry of Education to adopt the KUCCPS system.

More than 155 colleges in other ministries have already joined the platform, including Kenya Medical Training Colleges (KMTC) and the Kenya School of Law, which used to admit students directly.

Did KUCCPS open applications for TVET? Earlier, the KUCCPS announced that applications had opened for Technical and Vocational Education and Training programmes ahead of the May 2026 intake.

In a notice to prospective students, the agency said candidates who sat the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education in 2025, as well as those who completed secondary school in previous years, were eligible to apply.

Applicants were required to submit their course choices through the KUCCPS student portal.
