All Progressives Congress (APC) Yobe State Youth Leader, Babangida Adamu Jajere, has cautioned youths and other citizens to shun political thuggery, violence and other forms of malpractice during the forthcoming Governorship and state assembly elections in the state.
He made the plea during an interview with Daily Independent in Damaturu today.
According to him, youths are important tools for the development of any nation “we are very proud of our productive youths, they have been very supportive to the government and am very sure Governor Mai Mala Buni will continue to provide employment opportunities for our youths, let’s be more descent and orderly in pursuing our course because we are the leaders of tomorrow “.
He used the forum to appeal to the teeming youths to give Buni another chance to continue with the good work he has began “it is a fact that in the history of Yobe State there was never a time that the state government offered opportunities for the youths like now, they have been appointed into various sensitive positions and empowerment support programs have been ongoing in order to give them a sense of belonging of becoming responsible citizens”.
Jajere added that Buni has been responsible for the restoration of peace in the state “in the past we hardly observe public gatherings with huge crowd because of the fear of Boko Haram insurgency but now everyone is doing well with his routine business without panic “.
The Youth Leader expressed confidence that the APC will emerge victorious at the forthcoming elections”insha Allah we are on the winning side “.
