The Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has declared that Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is the best lawmaker the state has ever had since 1999.
Naija News reports that Gambo made the remark on Friday while receiving a delegation of PDP members in Lokoja.
While urging voters in Kogi Central to support Natasha for a second term in 2027, Gambo described the lawmaker as a rare breed politician whose leadership had brought visibility and development to the state.
According to him, the senator has remained committed to the party and has consistently supported PDP structures in Kogi State.
Gambo said her performance in the 10th National Assembly had distinguished her within her first term, adding that her representation had placed Kogi Central on the national stage.
He said, “She has displayed leadership qualities in an unprecedented manner. When she speaks, members listen. She is our leader at the state level, and we are proud of her stewardship.
“She is the best Senator Kogi has ever had since 1999. She is a winning team, and we cannot afford to change a winning team. Another term for Sen. Natasha will be for consolidation and greater impact.”
The PDP chairman also highlighted Natasha’s empowerment programmes, including support for widows, youths and small-scale business owners, as well as provision of vehicles, equipment and learning materials.
He maintained that Natasha’s developmental projects had further strengthened her acceptance across the district.
He added, “Her name is now a household name across Kogi Central. Her record is unblemished, and no one can fault her integrity. She has built schools, constructed roads, and upgraded markets with a class and vision that is difficult to match in just two years.”
