Two men have been charged today over allegedly smuggling drugs by drone south of Sydney.
Events began about 11.45pm on Tuesday when police were called to a unit complex on Corrimal Street, Wollongong , after two men were reported acting suspiciously.
Authorities discovered two individuals, aged 43 and 24, reportedly concealing themselves inside the premises.

The duo claimed to police that they were on the hunt for a drone that had reportedly crashed in the vicinity.
During the investigation, officers located a damaged drone, which allegedly contained a bag intended for dog waste that was filled with 66 grams of methylamphetamine.
The men were taken into custody, and a formal investigation was subsequently initiated.
In a related development, law enforcement officials conducted a raid at a residence on Cliff Road in Wollongong. During this operation, they confiscated a baton, an electronic stun device, 42 grams of methylamphetamine, and $4,350 in cash.
Officers also found the front door had been modified with metal and several deadbolts to secure the building.
Both men were charged with drug offences and unlawful entry.
Police will allege they were flying the drone to deliver drugs in the area when it crashed.
The men were refused bail when they appeared in court yesterday.
They are scheduled to front court again next month.
