Catherine Jepchumba, daughter of Nairobi Securities Exchange chairman Kiprono Kittony, tied the knot with her longtime Nigerian partner in a private ceremony.
The wedding comes less than a year after her sister, Chanelle, was married to Allan Chesang in a vibrant traditional event held in July 2025.
The Odinga and the Kittony families have shared a close tie owing to their long-standing presence in the political scene.
The traditional wedding was filled with pomp as most attendees donned traditional attire reflecting cultures from both sides of the world. Ida and Winnie, however, got the attention of most citizens.
Ida donned a stylish purple kanga with bold shades, an African fashion statement that was only outdone by Winnie’s polka-dotted blazer and audacious choice of plaited pants.
The high-profile event was graced by high-profile leaders, including Catherine’s grandmother, Zipporah Kittony, a veteran in the Kenyan political space and Mary Kilobi, Francis Atwoli’s wife.
Catherine’s wedding was a private event attended only by close family, invited friends, and dignitaries, including Winnie and Ida.
Winnie stayed close to her mother throughout the celebrations, showcasing their tight bond.
