Barcelona have signed Athony Gordon from Newcastle United in a 5-year deal.
The recently crowned Spanish la liga champions made the England international their first signing of the upcoming season, in a deal reportedly worth €80 million.
They beat Bayern Munich in the race to sign the speedy winger, and have ted him to the club unil 2031.

He will become the third player to represent both clubs, following the footsteps of Patrick Kluivert and Luuk de Jong.
Gordon joined Newcastle United from Everton in January 2023 and won the Carabao Cup with the Magpies in 2025, but has moved on from the club after their lacklustre 2025/26 season in which they finished in the bottom half of the EPL.
Despite the poor season, the 25 years old Everton academy graduate led the club with 20 goal contributions (17 goals, 3 assists), and also scored once in three meetings against Barcelona in the UCL where he recorded 10 goals.
His performance caught the eyes of the Blaugrana chief who have moved swiftly to seal the deal for the dribbling winger.
He will join the club in July after representing England at the 2026 FIFA World Cup later next month.
